Broken Shell Earrings is the original exhibit doll at the 2018 Carnegie Library Cultural Center in Ottowa, KS. She is the actual doll that was shipped to Kansas and on display for the Native Artist Exhibit there. Her dress is made from soft leather, with glass beads and broken shells for her earrings. Horse tail hair with sinew hair ties. Signed on upper left tight and sent with a Card of Lakota Authenticity. I will be making copies of this beautiful doll after this first one has been sold.
She is 11" tall with a 6" arm span.

Care instructions

Dolls will last for many years with care. Yearly or so use a soft makeup brush to dust doll off. Any stray horse tail hair can be easily tucked back into place using needle nose pliers . Spots and dirt can be removed using mild dishsoap and water , dapping spot with light pressure and swirling motion using small ,soft paint brush. The lighter suede can be cleaned with white baby powder using a small brush also.
If your doll includes a feather and it deteriorates , I will replace it anytime. Just email me!
