This service is for those who do not have the time or the patience to research their own genealogy. Many people come after hours and hours of researching, just to hit dead ends. I know there are several websites that offer free help, free forms, free council but from what I have been told by clients, you're better off hiring someone with the professionalism, time and dedication it takes to go through the piles and piles of information to find your ancestors or family roots.
I have over 25 years of experience in helping and finding People's families and roots, especially those in the vast Native American communities. I am a reunited Oglala Lakota adoptee. Adopted out at birth in 1951 by my Lakota mother, I was raised in Los Angeles with fine parents and other siblings. My folks never told me I had been adopted, but I knew in my heart that I was. When I was near 40 years old, I asked my folks and they didn't deny my adoption. Thus started a journey I am still on, and sometime, recovering from. I found all of Native Family without the internet using old documents, writing agencies, questioning agencies and possible relatives.
I started a Adoptees website in 2000 called Young Once Indian Forever. I helped several people connect and at least get started in finding their roots and sometime, family.
Google my name and you will see the involvement I have had with genealogy and finding roots. I enjoy the hunt and the end result of it. I am a truth seeker, accurate and complete with the Family Trees I have completed for people.
I charge $35.00 per hour and have access to two physical archives in my area. Travel time will be added to my detailed invoice. Please contact me with any questions and to begin your journey of a lifetime.
